In the past, I used to fear of darkness. When I was young, I even slept with the lights on. There were incidents where I would shout out for help when lights were switched off. I also do not plan my life, and I just live day by day.
By chance, my family and I were brought to GK611 by my old schoolmate and his wife, Robeen and Dione. After my family's salvation, my life changed. My family was saved. My son, Jerick was a very “sensitive” child. From young, he would see the "things" that we were unable to see. To be frank, I was scared and even more afraid when the lights were switched off at night. But I had to put on a brave front. Praise Lord! He helped us to solve this long time issue.

With our Lord, my family and I walked out of darkness. I am no longer afraid of darkness. I no longer shout for help when the lights went off. Recently, I had two such encounters of "lights off". I just continued with what I was doing and walked out of the toilet when I was done. I am at peace to sleep with the lights off at night. Praise the Lord! The Lord helped me to overcome my fear!
I am a more positive person now, with not just living day by day. I plan for my family and am a more involved father and husband. I am able to feel the peace in me. The past worries and fears are gone. Thanks and praise the Lord for being my Savior! Amen!
